BBÖ 1189 Krokodil
This remarkable electric locomotive will be available from 1919 - four years sooner than it was in reality.

These unusual articulated locomotives, in the vernacular lovingly nicknamed "crocodiles" because of their looks, were a domain of Switzerland really, but here we decided to include the Austrian version.

This extremely powerful engine is suited for passenger trains as well as long freight trains, if a little liable to break down due to its articulation and driving rods. Its cornering speed leaves something to be desired.

Bay Ptl 2/2 Glaskastl
The Bavarian Glaskastl is a highly unconventional but very well-known model. It got its name ("glass box") from the fact that the side windows were unusually large.

Thanks to its half-automatic coal supply, this locomotive could be operated with just one crew member. This made it ideal for the operation of local trains, where cost saving was more important than high traction power and speed.

From 1902 this little locomotive can be employed for short passenger trains or light freight trains. Its operation costs are gratifyingly low.

Who doesn't know them, these striking American coaches with their conspicuous silver design! The coaches were designed, built and painted according to the plans of the American star designer Raymond Loewy (who also designed the Coca-Cola bottle amongst other things). Their interior fittings with 32 seats, 8 spaces at the bar, air-conditioning, toilet and stereo system left nothing to be desired.

Passenger Ferry

This modern ferry was built along the lines of the Juan J. Sister. She is a highlight for passenger transport over water equipped with the latest technology and all creature comforts. This ship should however only be used given a sufficient number of passengers.

That's a very detailed model, which looks really realistic.

I hope that it won't mean that it needs a very up-to-date computer to play, though

those reqs. are very low if we will get graphic like this ... however the real game speed and req. will depend on map size too ...

btw. I'm going to buy 2.4-2.8 Ghz CPU from my payment (which will be somewhere in the middle of this month ... yahooo at last new cpu)

RAe 2/4 Red Arrow

The well-known and popular Red Arrow is a most unusual traction vehicle.
From 1935 these vehicles were for many years typical for shortline railroad tracks with low passenger traffic in Switzerland. In TransportGiant, these vehicles will be available from 1938 – though only in European scenarios
