Any of you play Minecraft the block game released in 2011 now developed from Microsoft?

Just hasn't been very active.

I dare say there's a few players here still, but as with everything... real life gets in the way and there's other things to focus on

Oh ho ho, I remember making that topic too. We had some fun on our TT servers back in the day.

Nowadays I still play on my Switch, even thinking about setting up a Realms account to play with my nieces and nephews, but how far this game has come - and at the same time, how kind of low it has sunk, with the awful store thing, the gazillion versions and the monetization of things like servers. I do miss the old days honestly, but if that isn't a continuous feeling as we're getting older I don't know what is. Still a fun game though.

I never paid much attention to it when it first came out (I know it was popular here and on #tycoon), but got it for my daughter some years ago on the Switch and played it with her (and now my eldest son too). I quite enjoy Creative mode.

I'm playing Vintage Story with my family, it is similar to Minecraft, but more realistic, indie game created by former minecraft modders, which were dissatisfied with constant problems with mod compatibility. (and overall minecraft policy after ownership change)

I played, I think, around five times with my son, but nothing special. My son tells me that this game is helping with his creativity, so I said sure and bought it for him. I don't play much myself, but he seems to enjoy it, and that's all that matters
